School is in session!

I do love teaching. However, I can say that teaching at a private school brings a whole other set of challenges as compared to teaching in a public school. One thing that will most likely keep me at the private school (even with half the pay) is the incredible support and unity of all the staff. Public school can't hold a candle to it. On the flip side, I have more severe behaviors from students in my private school classroom than I had when I taught in a classroom with children who had documented behavioral/emotional problems!

Many differences, to be sure. Good and not so good. Overall, I know I am where I need to be. I'm thankful to God for that.

Being able to worship at school and teach my children about the Bible is AMAZING! My favorite subject to teach is religion. I hope to move up to a older class in the future and my prayer is that, God willing, this will happen and that I will have a long career with this school. God willing....that is the key. I will follow Him wherever He leads me.

My husband is still looking for a job. We need one.....very much so!

This is all I have time to type. I am exhausted and have not yet adjusted to the year yet.

Peace~

July 27th, 2008 was a special day

Prayer, instruction, blessing of the pool etc...before the baptisms begin and after other parts of the ceremony where there were various blessings with oil. Just so beautiful. The Godparents are in this photo who are friends of ours and we are so happy to have them be the Godparents and know they will really take a active part in our childrens spiritual lives as well as be there for them.

Second Photo: E getting baptized. He is the youngest. He wanted to be immersed so this is why all the baptisms were done using this tub and the others just kneeled over it since they did not want to be immersed.

Third Photo: A getting baptized. Our second oldest daughter and fourth oldest child.

Fourth Photo: E getting baptized. We loved how the Catholic church did the affirmation of questions since E is mentally handicapped. (he may be nearly 14 yrs old but functions around a 4 year old)

Fifth Photo: S...our oldest daughter getting baptized. She is the second oldest child in the family. (our oldest son was baptized as an infant)

Last Photo: The entire family (including our oldest son who you can kind of see in the back row) My parents are also in the photo and I'm so glad they came to the baptisms from South Dakota where they live.
