Christmas Eve

Finally finding time to post. My husband finally found a job (mid October) and I can tell anyone out there that it IS CRITICAL that you have a emergency savings fund built up to live off of "just in case". I am so grateful that we had enough to make it through. We ended up with more than a $35K pay cut but our life is running at a much less stressful speed....still crazy busy, but the stress that came from my husbands former administrative job went away with that job! We are both teaching full-time, but at different districts. He is teaching special education at a public school on the Wind River Indian Reservation and I'm at a private school teaching kindergarten. Funny because my husbands first job teaching was at a school on a different reservation in a different state and here he is again in a position much like the one he started in years ago.

We will celebrate our first Christmas as Catholics and I sooooo look forward to Midnight Mass! The church is beautiful. When I went to daily Mass this past Monday, it took my breath away. WOW. I think we have to be there a hour early to get a seat. At least that is what we've been told by those who have attended this Parish longer than we have. The early arrival will be a nice time to meditate on this Blessed Eve.

Peace
